🍳Quick and Easy Shakshuka-ish🍳
That dip dip 😍. One of my favorite breakfasts to make on the weekend…. especially a summery weekend when I’m living my best life with dresses and denim jackets and white sneakers. 🥰🥰🥰 Anyways shakshuka/eggs in pergatory-ish combo is perfect, mostly because we use up leftover jarred sauce I had from the several nights 🥰 of pasta eating.
Here’s what I did: sauté some sliced red bell pepper with a bit of cumin and paprika. 😋 Add leftover jarred tomato sauce (I used raoshomemade) and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 1-2 minutes on low heat to reduce. Make two divets and crack an egg into each diver. Cover and cook over low heat until the whites are set. Serve with avocado, maybe some feta or za’atar, chopped fresh parsley, and of course bread! Easy peasy and perfect!
